The Black Beach is worldwide known for its crystal clear waters, as it gets the Blue Flag every year. We visited Santorini again recently and returned to Iliada as we enjoyed our stay last time. It is a great 'base' if you want to travel around the island (bus stop nearby/parking available if you hire a car) it is also near the beach/restaurants/bars. Rooms are big and confortable. Our room had a nice balcony surrounded by plants and a very big double bed. The hotel has two lovely swimming pools and sunbeds for free. It's a very quiete place, far from the noisy main cities, but at the same time it's 5 minutes walk from Perissa and its lovely front sea road, full of restaurants, shops and bars. We had a great time at Iliada hotel, and of course if we come back to the wonderful Santorini island we will choose it again! All the staff was really kind and you can truly ask for all the informations you would like to have! We would recommend to young or mature couples, but also to families with children! The only negative thing is that outside the hotel there's no sidewalk for pedestrians, but you just have to pay little attention. oh..we've forgotten..breakfast was great! You can find tea,milk,coffee, fruit juice, cakes, fruits, yoghurt, ham, cheese,cucumbers, many types of bread and more!! We do hope to see you soon! | 5 |
